Daniela joined InnerCity Struggle in 2012 as an Academic Advisor. In 2014 she transitioned into the Academic Services Coordinator and then served as the Director of Youth Organizing for over 2 years. In 2021, Daniela Began her new role as the senior director of campaign development. In this role, she provides strategic direction for the Youth Organizing and Academic Services components. Daniela received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Scripps College, where she worked with the Scripps College Academy. There, she nurtured a passion for social justice and college access for low-income communities of color. Her lived experience growing up in South LA as the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants inspires her work in organizing for systemic and transformative change.
